Reality Engine API documentation

Header documentation is available online at RealityAPI.

Reality Engine Runtime

See RealityBinaries for our current runtime preview.

Prerequisites

Reality Engine uses DirectX 9.0c SDK Feb 2005. You can download this from http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/list/directx.asp?frame=true

The C# engine and Reality Builder depend on the .NET 2.0 Framework.

CVS Access

As a licensee you have access to our internal code respository which is updated daily. The respository holds all workspaces and source for the Reality Engine, Reality Engine Tools, Plugins, Supporting Code, and our Cry Havoc project.

CVS runs on CVSNT ( http://www.cvsnt.org ). Our current development platform is Visual Studio 2005, and the CVS solutions are in VS8 format. However, we also provide projects for Visual Studio 2003.

Access is:

:pserver:cvsuser@server.artificialstudios.com:/dev_main

with password and username you were provided with and module 'cryhavoc'

WinCVS is a strong CVS client and frontend which functions apart from the IDE, so is ideal for downloading ocassional source drops. Alternatively, PushOK CVS SCC proxy plug-in can be used for full Visual Studio IDE-integrated CVS access, though you must take extreme care not to check in local changes to our central repository.
